Stuart Morris

“Starting out as an untrained writer with the London Screenwriters Workshop, I learnt to write by sharing skills and editing other writers.  Credits came, but running workshops at schools along the South Coast and devising writing courses for adult ed centres (South Downs, Chichester and Bognor Regis) continued to sustain me both financially and creatively.

Even when on contract to long-running shows like The Bill, I found I still gained a lot from teaching.  For example, leading master-classes for new writers and script-editors run by TAPS and funded by the industry.

Now broadcasting is changing. I want to continue to create original work that connects with a new generation.  What better way than to work with students of all ages and backgrounds, and to listen to what excites them whilst helping individuals achieve their full potential?”
